Tomorrow 03:10
Sleep in late, don't give a fuck about what happens today. Great start, I feel that familiar tremor in my heart. Out of bed, the dreams stuck in my head. Morning chill, am I living that dream still? Am I living that dream still? Late for work, not looking forward to my boss' smirk. He says "go home". Now instead I'm drunk alone. Tired eyes, lids closing and I act surprised. Start over, tomorrow's getting closer. Tomorrow's getting closer.

Alive 03:48
When you closed your eyes, my universe died, although floating in space, I felt alive.
3.
The glimmer of your nose ring caught my eye. I get it, you've said it before, it's cool to die. "Do I post this pic? Do I put a filter on it? What about this abstract quote? Does it fit? Does it fit what I wrote?" I don't know that band, sorry. I don't know that bar. No, this shirt isn't vintage. Let's take a break while I check my privilege. I can tell by your crop top, you got that trendy tattoo below your tits. Cause you're tragically hip. Tragically hip. Yeah you're tragically hip. Tragically hip. Cause you're tragically hip. Tragically hip. Yeah you're tragically hip. At least I didn't migrate north from California. I don't wanna be, I don't wanna be, Tragically hip. Tragically hip. I don't wanna be hip. Tragically hip. I don't wanna be hip. Tragically hip. I'm not tragically hip.

Stars 03:04
I hardly remember your name. The faces and conversations all blend to be the same. Walking along the same streets. Where we once faked that we were both complete. Wait, wait, let me catch my breath. I burned everything you thought I had kept. Wait, wait, would you look at the sky, there's the moon, it's dark but it's daytime. I hardly remember your name. Although I don't think I want to anymore, anyway. Now dissected and tucked away, to a place where we are both okay. Wait, wait, would you get some air, take even oxygen not to care. Wait, wait, would you look at the stars, they're placed exactly where they are. Where they are. Where they are. Where they are.

about

This album was recorded in March/April of 2018. Blake sat on it for a year and a half. Blake's bandmates have been begging him to release it. Here it is.

credits

released September 20, 2019

Blake wrote the lyrics and the guitar parts.
Blake also sang the lyrics that he wrote.
Jake played some of the guitar parts that Blake wrote.
Then Jake adapted some parts that Blake wrote to feel more like Jake wrote them.
Simon played the bass. Simon wrote better parts than Blake could play.
Katie played flute, keys, and the tambourine.
Parker played the drums.
Parker also recorded the album in his basement.
We're very grateful for Parker.

Blake is very grateful for his bandmates; the people that worked tirelessly for weeks, nay, years (possibly decades) to make this four song EP come to fruition.
